Every bottle of F-Word Farm vinegar is handcrafted primarily from ingredients grown or foraged from F-Word Farm and the immediate area. The quality ingredients and long, slow fermentation period make these vinegars you can’t find anywhere else! They are made for drinking or using on food.
Because vinegar is an acid, think of using these like you would lime or lemon juice, but with the benefit of probiotics! Vinegars are also flavor enhancers, so they can also be thought of like a finishing salt. Sprinkle a little on practically anything and it will open up the flavor. Use them in salads, on bread, fruit, soups, cocktails, mocktails, pickles, in marinades…wherever you want a pop of flavor. Here’s to your health and our planet’s future!
This Blueberry Vermouth Vinegar is a collaboration with Coffin Cellars and begins with their local blueberry wine. I took that wine and transformed it into a vermouth using lots of basil and other hand selected local botanicals. Then I made that vermouth into vinegar.
The result is blueberry basil on the nose and mouth. Makes an amazing salad dressing, shrub, blueberry margarita, with pork/chicken or fish, on fruit..
The world is your blueberry vermouth oyster – maybe even try it on them!
Limited batch, one time only vinegar, which has been over a year in the making. Made from 8 varieties of heirloom squash/pumpkins I grew last year, some spice from my hot peppers, and more spice from the fall favorites (cinnamon & ginger).
This is an awesome vinegar for making this whipped butternut recipe, topping pumpkin ravioli with a little butter, as a shrub (mixed with apple cider & a little honey), in hot sauce, topping roasted veg, on quinoa/farro salads, on fish or in salsa.
Made from F-Word Farm grown stinging nettles, garlic scapes and mint (among other ingredients), this vinegar is a great replacement for lemon juice. It also contains a reishi mushroom tincture (a medicinal mushroom), which lends to the slight earthiness of this vinegar. Great dressing for salads, veggies, or chicken (I use 2 parts vinegar:1 part oil), in seltzer water, or anywhere else you might use lemon juice!
Contains a double extraction reishi mushroom tincture.
This vinegar is made from Blisspoint Meadery’s pressings! Berry forward, made from strawberries, raspberries, blackberries & blueberries! Great as a vinaigrette, for making pickled onions, as a pop of flavor in drinks (try some in Blisspoint’s mead!) , in BBQ sauces…wherever you want a fruity acidity.
This vinegar is herbaceous and garlicy. The upfront flavor is rosemary and garlic followed by an almost nutty aftertaste. Mix with oil and crushed red pepper for a salad dressing or dipping oil, use in marinades for meat or veggies, or top garlicy green beans, winter squash or other cooked vegetables.
Sweet onion-y goodness with a lift of acidity. This vinegar was made from a combination of alliums grown at F-Word Farm. Add at the end of cooking noodles, soups, stir fries, roasted veggies, or as a meat marinade. Also great as a salad dressing or for making quick pickles!
This vinegar is made from F-Word Farm grown bronze fennel. It’s like biting into a juicy, sweet and tart apple with a hint of fennel. Try this vinegar on salad (especially one with fennel and apples!), on pork, and applesauce, top roasted veggies, make pickled onions, as a pop of flavor in drinks, to make shrubs, on fruit… really anywhere!
Rhubarb & ginger come together as a natural pair in this handcrafted vinegar. Rhubarb-y, slightly fruity, tangy vinegar is at home on fruits, vegetables & fish. Add a touch of honey or maple syrup to sweeten (if desired) and take as a daily probiotic shot. Use in place of lime juice in margaritas or other cocktails! Or to make pickles, especially pickled onions!
Contains a double extraction reishi mushroom tincture.
This special vinegar was made from the pressings of Blisspoint Meadery’s “Falling Up” mead, giving second life to these beautiful ingredients! You taste strawberry and hibiscus up-front with a good bite of acidity, and a hint of sweetness from the orange blossom honey the mead was made from. Great in the smashed cucumber salad or when making probiotic pickled onions. Try a splash on fruit to make them taste sweeter, in desserts, in drinks in place of lime or lemon juice (try a splash in their mead!), on roasted veggies…anywhere!
The smokiness in this flavorful vinegar is reminiscent of bacon! Great salad dressing, splashed on avocados, fish, veggies, chicken, in salsa, tomato soup (dip in a bacon grilled cheese!), make pickles, top fried green tomatoes, mix into cocktails. Anywhere! One of a kind micro-batch vinegar made with F-Word Farm grown produce.

So many different combination of flavors that will elevate your salads and marinades to the next level. The Heirloom Red Celery vinegar is my favorite for green salads followed by Garlic and Rosemary Vinegar for potato and pasta salads and for marinates and sauces for meat. F Word Farm Vinegars are full of gut healthy microbes. Plain vinegar will seem very bland and hard yo return after using these vinegars. I'm very impressed with the intensity and depth of flavor from both these bottles. I also have been to three classes hosted by Emily, owner of F-Word Farm. The classes were regarding kombucha, pickling, and shio koji. She has provided the instruction and resources to help me continue to ferment at home. I have four quart batches of kombucha fermenting at home, I have made several batches of pickles and kimchi, and now I am starting my first batch of shio koji. I enjoy gardening and making my own food; and Emily's classes have helped me continue on my journey. Becky Hays2024-05-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
