Earth Focused Farming, Foraging & Fermenting

F-Word Farm (Farming, Foraging, Fermenting) was started out of a love for the environment.  F-Word Farm is an Earth centered farm that practices organic, no-till farming focused on building eco-systems & soil. Every small batch of vinegar is handcrafted primarily from F-Word Farm grown or foraged ingredients, and some second-use ingredients destined for the trash.  They contain “good for you” gut microbes, acquired through a long slow fermentation period.  The owner is also passionate about teaching fermentation methods to reduce food waste, foraging to promote appreciation for local food, and farming to protect our soil & eco-systems.

Emily Makrez, owner of F-Word Farm, passionate about Earth-focused farming, foraging, and fermenting. F-Word Farm practices organic, no-till farming to build eco-systems and soil, producing handcrafted vinegars from locally grown and foraged ingredients. Emily is dedicated to reducing food waste and promoting sustainable farming practices.

Products

Every bottle of F-Word Farm vinegar is handcrafted primarily from ingredients grown or foraged from F-Word Farm and the immediate area. The quality ingredients and long, slow fermentation period make these vinegars you can’t find anywhere else!  They are made for drinking or using  on food.

Because vinegar is an acid, think of using these like you would lime or lemon juice, but with the benefit of probiotics!  Vinegars are also flavor enhancers, so they can also be thought of like a finishing salt.  Sprinkle a little on practically anything and it will open up the flavor.  Use them in salads, on bread, fruit, soups, cocktails, mocktails, pickles, in marinades…wherever you want a pop of flavor.  Here’s to your health and our planet’s future!
